News - Up to date information on the
social centre.

Had the meeting, ready to go in. location to be announced
on the 17th. all is set. we just need help with people staying
there, some sort of timetable of who will be staying needs
to be drawn up.
we are having a meeting on thursday at the knott bar (near
deansgate station) to chat about kickstart - before we squat

Anyway - We are looking to have a meeting the week before
we go in to open the squat. the timetable is pretty full for
the first 10 days, but we are still looking for more stuff.
The daily telegraph student newspaper thing has published an
article on squatting.
Oh and we need to make some publicity coz we are all lazy.
maybe some flyers and flypostering.

Meeting that decided lots of things.
Mainly updated the timetable and started to worry we had
to much!
got very exited because
it is going to be fantastic and the space is truly amazing.
Also decided that we will be there as
long as possible and the timetable will probably carry on
untill the following week.
Also decided (phew) that a free party
will end the whole thing with a possibility of hundreds of
people and 5 sound systems! but that's after all the fun
and games of the workshops kids! so don't get that exited,
we
will be doing a cafe from 3 everyday as well.
Not long to go - about
3 weeks!

Decided to have a meeting on thursday
26th at friends meeting house at 5PM.
Also check out electrics at the place,
all looks in working order. Though the water looks complicated
because the boiler(s) are still there.
Also found out it has a large basement
perfect for bike mending (and riding bikes!) and maybe skating.

to the daily telegraph, but some people will chat to 'em
about squatting in general.
